本品屬大環內酯類抗生素，為紅霉素的硬脂酸鹽。
主要用(yong)于對青霉素耐(nai)藥的葡萄(tao)球(qiu)菌感染，也(ye)可用(yong) 于鏈(lian)球(qiu)菌、肺炎球(qiu)菌的感染。

Erythromycin Stearate belongs to macrolide antibiotics, and it is the stearic acid salt of erythromycin. It is mainly used in the treatment of the infections of staphylococcus resistant to penicillin and also used in the patients with the infections of streptococcus and pneumococcus.
